Mitsubishi Electric Coming with its Plant in India, Will Create Over 2,000 Jobs
Mitsubishi Electric is planning to set up its new plant in India with an investment of around Rs. 1891 crore in the direction of the way of one hundred percent foreign direct investment. And the company will take various initiatives to keep the atmosphere at 0 percent carbon emission.

Mitsubishi Electric is to set up a new plant in India in Tamilnadu at an investment of about Rs. 1891 crore and the laying down of the foundation stone there will be the Chief Minister M K Stalin here on Tuesday.
There have been signed A memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Mitsubishi Electric under the Guidance of TN. The factory will be based in Tiruvallur District and will be supported by the state government.
The manufacturing will be based on room air-conditioners and compressors and it is expected to come up on a 52 acre of land which has been owned by the Mahindra in Peruvoyal village, in Thiruvallur district.
The company will be investing about 1,891 crores by way of one hundred percent foreign direct investment. The company’s investment will also create about 20,000 jobs and more than 60% of the employees will be women.
The company would take various initiatives in which it will work to reduce carbon emissions in the atmosphere through enhanced thermal insulation, a heated water system, and the use of highly efficient air-conditioning.
